Organic cotton

Organic cotton is a type of cotton that comes solely and exclusively from cotton grown without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Furthermore, it is spun and produced without using toxic chemicals.

On the other hand, in its cultivation, the cotton is harvested completely by hand, thus maintaining the purity of the fiber that makes the fabric much softer and more durable.

The use of organic cotton is beneficial in many aspects, from healthy and environmental aspects, to social aspects. And it is that, in these crops, small farmers and the small local economy are favored. Organic cotton crops use a crop rotation system and fertilizers of biological origin to enrich the soil. In addition, the management of irrigation water is much more efficient in these crops, using up to 50% less water. Due to the non-use of pesticides and chemical products, organic cotton textiles are more resistant.

They are also hypoallergenic, perfect for sensitive or atopic skin.
