The Trevira CS® textile has antibacterial and fire retardant properties that comply with international regulations on fire safety. It is a high-tech fabric due to its chemical formula of polyester and, thanks to its fibers and the type of yarn, which fulfills a safety function.
It has a high resistance to external factors, which means that its properties are maintained over time. It is perfectly adapted to the sector of protection against heat and fire. In addition, a fabric made of fire retardant thread complies with regulations such as UNE 597/1-597/2, CRIB 5 or IMO, among others.
Trevira CS® fabrics can be used in other areas at the end of their useful life, for example, as material for insulation or soundproofing in panels for offices, hotels and hospitals. In addition to this recycling process, Trevira is fully in charge, which has different production plants for recycling.
Trevira CS® is certified by Oekotex Standard 100, which guarantees that in the event of a fire the toxic gases released are very scarce.
