Tencel is the most environmentally friendly cellulosic fiber that we currently have.
This fiber is characterized by its softness, breathability and durability.
It is a sustainable alternative to other man-made fibers, as it is produced through a process that uses less water and fewer chemicals than other man-made fiber production processes.
Tencel is very soft to the touch and comfortable on the skin, making it ideal for fabrics that are in direct contact with the skin. In addition, it is resistant to wrinkles and remains cool and dry, making it ideal for high temperatures and humid places. It is also hypoallergenic which allows its use on bedding or garments for sensitive skin.
Did you know?
It is produced exclusively from the wood pulp of eucalyptus trees. This is very sustainable since it grows very quickly, which means that eucalyptus can be planted continuously on less land. Plus it can grow strong without the need for pesticides and herbicides.
